In the past, contractors hired specialised monitoring companies with sophisticated and expensive equipment to carry out vibration measurements.
Today, vibration monitoring equipment is available that can be operated directly by the contractors themselves.
For many years, the Dutch company Profound has focused on developing and manufacturing vibration monitoring equipment specifically designed for contractor operation.
They have developed a series of vibration monitoring instruments called VIBRA, which are relatively simple to use. Together with the accompanying software, it is also easy to generate documentation of the measurements.
